There is a 25% increase on all lodging rates for the holidays, which include: New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve. Reservations made over holiday and prime time will be charged regardless of early pick up or delayed drop off.
First-time customers are required to put down a deposit in the amount of 50% of their total bill upon arrival for lodging. The balance is due upon pick-up. Long-term lodging requires a payment every two weeks, with a two-week deposit at check-in.
Charges begin the day your pet arrives regardless of the time. Check-out time is 1:00 p.m. There is no charge for the day of departure if the pet is picked up before the check-out time. There is no charge for the day of departure regardless of the time if you have your pet bathed or groomed the day of departure. There is a two-day minimum charge for any overnight lodging appointment.
Forms of payment accepted: Cash, Debit, and Credit Card (American Express, Discover, Mastercard, Visa). We do not accept personal checks.
Lodging arrivals and departures are only accepted during normal business hours. After hours charges are at the discretion of Shel-Ray. At Shel-Ray’s discretion, your pet may be bathed or upgraded to different accommodations if deemed necessary for the well-being of pet and/or staff, at additional charges.
We do offer a 5% discount for Military/Veterans. You must provide proof like an ID or a DD2-14. Once you provide proof it will remain in your file.
There are additional charges for:
- Medications – $1.00 per dose and $3.00 per injection.
- Special diet – $1.00 per day for your own food
- Intact male/female – $2.00 per day additional
- Pets with special needs (sutures, bandages, injuries, etc..) – cost will vary depending on the need
- Capstar – $10 per pet per visit
- Pet-I-Care warranty – $5 per pet per visit (mandatory charge)
Deposits
Holidays & Spring Break: A $50.00 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit per pet is required for All Rooms except for Theme Suites. A $75.00 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required for all the Theme Suites.
All other appointments: A $25.00 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit per pet is required for All Rooms except for Theme Suites. A $50.00 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required for all the Theme Suites.
All deposits are applied to the visit. If a cancellation is needed, 72 hours notice or more before the arrival date is required for the deposit to be applied towards your pet’s next visit. If the cancellation occurs less than 72 hours before the arrival date, the deposit is forfeit. Unused deposits expire after 5 years.
